The OTHM Level 4 Diploma in Project Management equips learners with essential project management skills for varied professional environments. This qualification covers core principles and practices, blending theory with hands-on learning in areas such as project management, team leadership, business finance, and marketing. It also emphasizes self-reflection, personal development, and professional growth. Upon completion, learners are well-prepared for further university studies or to enter the workforce with a solid foundation in project management knowledge and practical skills.
This qualification is suited to learners aged 18 and above. The typical entry profile includes one of the following:
· A relevant Level 3 Diploma or equivalent qualification
· GCE Advanced level in two subjects or an equivalent qualification
· Mature learners (over 21) with relevant management experience (subject to verification with the delivery centre)
English Requirement: Learners from non-majority English-speaking countries must provide proof of English language proficiency.
OTHM Level 4 qualifications represent practical skills, knowledge, and competencies, academically assessed as equivalent to Higher National Certificates (HNC) and the first year of a UK Bachelor’s degree.
The OTHM Level 4 Diploma in Project Management includes six mandatory units, totaling 120 credits, with 1200 hours of Total Qualification Time (TQT) and a minimum of 600 Guided Learning Hours (GLH).

This qualification is structured to be completed in 6 months for full-time students, though part-time and distance learning options are also available. It can be delivered face-to-face through lectures, tutorials, and seminars, as well as via online or distance learning, with us.
All units in this qualification are assessed internally by the centre and externally verified by OTHM. The qualification is criterion-referenced, requiring learners to meet all specified learning outcomes to achieve a pass.
Learners must submit evidence demonstrating they have met the learning outcomes and assessment criteria. The assessor then evaluates this evidence and provides an audit trail to document the learner’s achievement.
Upon completing the OTHM Level 4 Diploma in Project Management, learners can pursue a range of academic paths, including progression to relevant Level 5 Diplomas with OTHM.
