The OTHM Level 5 Diploma in Project Management is designed to equip learners with practical project management skills and prepare them to work across a variety of professional settings. Learners will gain valuable expertise in operations management, project quality management, business strategy, responsible business practices, project planning and execution, and digital business practices. Upon successful completion of this qualification, learners will possess industry-relevant skills that can be directly applied in the workplace, improving their career prospects and providing opportunities for further study.
English Requirement
If a learner is from a country where English is not the primary language, they must provide proof of English language proficiency.
Qualifications at RQF Level 5 represent practical knowledge, skills, and competencies equivalent to Foundation Degrees, Higher National Diplomas (HND), and the second year of a three-year UK Bachelor's degree programme.
The OTHM Level 5 Diploma in Project Management consists of 6 mandatory units, totaling 120 credits and 1200 hours of Total Qualification Time (TQT). The recommended minimum number of Guided Learning Hours (GLH) for this qualification is 600 hours.

This qualification is designed for full-time study over one academic year, but it is also adaptable for part-time and distance learning formats.
The course is delivered through face-to-face lectures, tutorials, seminars, and online or distance learning via approved centres only.
Each unit of this qualification is assessed internally by the centre and externally verified by OTHM. The assessments are criterion-referenced, with learners required to meet all specified learning outcomes to pass.
To achieve a "pass" for a unit, learners must provide evidence that demonstrates they have fulfilled all learning outcomes and meet the standards outlined in the assessment criteria. The assessor will provide a detailed audit trail showing how the judgment of the learner’s overall achievement was made.
Upon successful completion of the OTHM Level 5 Diploma in Project Management, learners can progress into employment or continue their studies.
As the qualification is approved and regulated by Ofqual (Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulation), learners are also eligible for direct entry into Year 3 of a three-year UK Bachelor's degree programme.
